Arrivals/Departures
Hawkair arrives and departs from the SOUTH TERMINAL in Vancouver Address: 4440 Cowley Crescent, Richmond, B.C. Hawkair and Pacific Coastal Interline all flights connect through the Convenient South Terminal.
Check-In Information
Vancouver, Terrace and Smithers passengers check-in one hour (60 minutes) prior to flight departures.
Passengers checking in less than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure will be denied boarding. Prince Rupert passengers must check-in two (2) hours prior to flight departure, at the Highliner Inn.Bus and ferry fees are included in the Prince Rupert ticket price.
Victoria passengers will check in at the Pacific Coastal Airline desk at least one hour (60 minutes) prior to flight departure. Failure to check in 30 minutes prior to departure time may result in the cancellation of your entire reservation.
Identification Required
One piece of valid government issued picture ID or two pieces of government issued non-picture ID.
Ticket Restrictions
Unrestricted tickets (Full fare - Y-class) are refundable and changeable at no charge.
Quick Tickets are non refundable but changeable and endorsable for no additional fees.
Restricted tickets are non-refundable/changeable with a fee of $50.00 (plus HST) per segment, and any applicable difference of fare. Name changes allowed with a fee of $50.00 plus HST.
Changes or cancellations can be done up to two (2) hours prior to departure time and a fee of $50.00 plus HST per segment, per passenger plus the difference of fare if applicable.
Canceled tickets will be held in a credit file for one (1) year from date of booking.
Cancellations made on the same day of booking can be put on a credit file or refunded.
Changes made same day as booking may be charged difference of fare, change fees do not apply.
No Shows
Passengers who fail to cancel their flight in advance and do not show up for their flight will forfeit all of their fare, taxes, charges and surcharges.
Special Needs Passengers
If you are traveling with special needs, due to a disability or need for assistance when traveling, please contact our reservation department to discuss how we can assist you.
Discounted Fares
Unaccompanied Minors, Children, Students, Youths, Seniors, Medical, Compassionate or Bereavement, please call our reservations department to assist you.
Pacific Coastal airline will not accept Unaccompanied minors from Hawkair and vice versa. Unaccompanied Minors are not accepted for any connecting flights.
Baggage Information
Passengers are allowed a maximum weight of 50 lbs total for their checked luggage plus two pieces of carry on (if taking two carry-on pieces, both have to fit the baggage sizer together). There will be an additional fee for any excess baggage over the 50 lb limit.
Maximum size for carry-on/valet baggage is 55cm x 40cm x 23cm (L21.5” xW 15.5” xH 9”) with a maximum weight of 22 lbs.
Infants under the age of 2 (two) years and are traveling at no charge, are either allowed a car seat or stroller. However, there is no baggage allowance for the infant.
If your luggage has been damaged, please report it to our Customer Service Agents upon your arrival. Hawkair’s liability is limited to a maximum of fifty dollars ($50.00) Canadian funds per piece of luggage. Hawkair is not responsible for nicks, dents, scuffs, scratches, broken wheels, zippers, feet , clips, exterior handles , or damaged caused by normal wear and tear.

Dangerous Goods Policy
Dangerous goods are not permitted under any circumstances.
South Terminal Shuttle
Complimentary shuttle for any passenger connecting to the Main Terminal. All passengers must have a voucher to board the shuttle. A Hawkair Customer Service Agent will issue vouchers at check-in and provide you with further information.
Going to the South Terminal- (No Shuttle voucher needed)
Shuttle bus picks up at the Domestic arrivals level outside door F.
And at the International arrivals level – Pillar #2. There is a sign that is clearly marked ’South Terminal’.
No Shuttle is necessary for passengers connecting through the South Terminal with Pacific Coastal Airlines
In the Event We Are Faced with Any Unforseen Delays
Hawkair is not responsible for any connecting or ongoing travel arrangements. Exceptions are bookings made by Hawkair for connections with Pacific Coastal Airlines.
